The Florida Department of Commerce has just released the October 2023 employment report. The Jacksonville MSA had an unemployment rate of 3.1%, which was up slightly from September. St. Johns County increased from 2.7 percent to 2.8 percent. Of the 917,972 people counted as part of the area's workforce in October, there were 28,625 unemployed residents in the region – up slightly from 28,090 unemployed residents in September.

FloridaCommerce has announced that the unemployment rate for the Jacksonville region was 3.1 percent in September 2023 – which was down slightly from the previous month.
