Chamber Membership Means Business

When you engage your business with the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce, you're doing more than just accessing our programs, products, and networking opportunities. You're also supporting the chamber's efforts to develop St. Johns County's pipeline for a better workforce, create good jobs by diversifying the economy, support infrastructure improvements for smart growth and development, and engage local government entities to become more efficient and effective.

Advocates of chambers of commerce have long believed that when a company is active in its local chamber, it is doing the right thing not only for the community but for its own success as well. A study commissioned by the American Chamber of Commerce Executives determined what the real value is to companies active in their local chambers:

59% of consumers think that being active in the local chamber of commerce is an effective business strategy overall.
12% of consumers are more likely to think that a chamber member's products stack up better against its competition.
Consumers are 44% more likely to think favorably of a small business that is a chamber member and 63% more likely to purchase goods or services from that business.

The takeaway? Consumers equate a business' chamber involvement with trustworthiness, caring about the community, and being a leader in its industry.

Investment Levels

Entrepreneur: $400 (Nonprofit: $350)

An opportunity to develop your business, network with potential customers and business owners, and build credibility for your business. You will be able to take advantage of all the networking and connection opportunities the Chamber has to offer. Your business will be listed in the online Chamber Directory. Additionally, you will be welcomed into the Chamber through social media postings, and you will have the opportunity to hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially kick off your membership.

Business Builder: $800 (Nonprofit: $700)

The Business Builder membership helps you ascend to the next level of business. It not only includes the features and benefits of the Entrepreneur Membership, but it admits your company to membership in the elite Economic Development Council. As an EDC member, you will receive periodic updates that will inform you of all of the development activities taking place in St. Johns County. This membership is perfect for small businesses looking to grow and develop new clients and customers.

Chamber Partner: $1,900

With a Chamber Partner membership, you are significantly stepping up your commitment to the business community in St. Johns County and at the same time stepping up your business profile within the Chamber. At this level of membership, you can not only take advantage of what’s available to you in the previous levels of membership, but you can also use a portion of your membership toward sponsoring an event, which will offer you and your business additional exposure.

Community Builder: $3,100

The Community Builder Membership will offer you an ever-increasing business profile within the Chamber and beyond. With $1,200 available in sponsorship credit, you will now have the ability to sponsor multiple events if you so desire. Additionally, if you have multiple locations, this tier will cover two additional locations under your Community Builder membership. This membership is an ideal fit for a business that is established and continuing to grow.

Visionary: $6,500

Step up your involvement and investment with the Chamber with a Visionary Membership. You will receive up to five category listings in the Chamber Directory which will ensure that your company has increased exposure to potential clients and customers. Additionally, you will receive $2,500 in sponsorship credits.

• Membership for 5 additional branch/office locations
• 5 category listings in Chamber online directory

Benefactor: $12,500

Investment in the Chamber at the Benefactor level will send a signal to the business community that you intend for your business to be involved and committed to multiple business issues. With this membership, you become a member of the prestigious Board of Advisers. A Benefactor membership comes with $5,500 in sponsorship credit which gives you flexibility on how best to use it for your company. Your company will also receive five complimentary seats to EDC Quarterly Breakfast events.

• 5 complimentary seats to quarterly EDC Breakfasts
• Seat on the Board of Advisers

Trustee: $18,500

As a Trustee member of the Chamber, you will have all of the benefits associated with the Benefactor Membership, $8,500 in sponsorship credit, as well as additional features and benefits that go along with a Trustee investment in the Chamber.

Elite: $22,500

An Elite level membership with the Chamber allows you to customize a membership that is best for your company. Not only will you receive the features and benefits of all other membership tiers, but you will also enjoy increased flexibility and negotiating power in how you utilize your membership.

Innovator: $26,000+

As an Innovator member of the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce, you are establishing your business as a premier partner of the business community. Your membership is customizable, with the flexibility and negotiating power of the Elite level along with an increased sponsorship credit amount and additional options available exclusively to you as an Innovator member.
