Some have direct links to bid opportunities and some list their bids on systems, such as DemandStar.DemandStar allows all companies one free agency. For example, when a company chooses “St. Johns County School District” as their free agency, they should receive notifications and have access to all competitive solicitations. Note, “St. Johns County” and “St. Johns County School District” are recognized as two separate agencies. Choose the specific agency to receive Bids/RFPs.DemandStar is a web-based electronic procurement system allowing vendors 24 hour access to information related to solicitations. Vendors may register to receive notification of one agency solicitations, free of charge (DemandStar allows companies to receive notification from a single agency at no cost). There is no charge for documents that are electronically downloaded from the website by DemandStar subscribers in their subscription service territory.Vendors that wish to receive notifications and full functionality of the DemandStar website, may visit the DemandStar Registration web page. After you are logged onto the page, select the “Onvia DemandStar FREE AGENCY” option; other options are available for vendors. Finally, on the form that opens, enter the required information for your business. -
