Historic St. Augustine
Founded in 1565, in search of the legendary Fountain of Youth, St. Augustine provides a mix of small town charm, southern hospitality, historical integrity and seaside appeal. The Historic Downtown boasts flavorful fares, old-world treasures, arts and culture, and attractions for all ages. The European-style architecture transports you to a world of beauty and history.
Vilano Beach is synonymous with sparkling sands and seas, as it is located on the northeastern coast of Florida and surrounded by water on nearly every side. Boarded by the Atlantic Ocean on the east, the Intracoastal Waterway on the west, and the St. Augustine Inlet on the south, Vilano Beach is the picture-perfect, sunny Florida town. You may even find yourself catching glimpses of dolphins when driving over the Usina Bridge (also known as the "Vilano Bridge"). The vista that emerges as you reach the crest of the bridge is one of stunning, surreal beauty; a highly recommended experience.
Anastasia Island/St. Augustine Beach
Just across the Inracoastal Waterway from Historic Downtown St. Augustine, you will find Anastasia Island, a barrier island lined with wide, sandy beaches. Sun-seakers flock to the well-known St. Augustine Beach, home to the St. Johns County Ocean Pier and Pavilion, which features a children's splash fountain and playground. Surfing, kayaking and paddle-boarding are all made possible when renting equipment from the local surf-shops.
