About the Ponte Vedra Auto Show
The Ponte Vedra Auto Show has been rescheduled for Sunday, September 22, at the Nocatee Event Field from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
According to Sandy Kavanaugh, Ponte Vedra Auto Show Manager, all those currently confirmed for Sept. 15 show participation will remain registered. Auto registrations will reopen on Monday, September 16 for those who were previously unable to register. Registration will close on Wednesday, September 18 at 5:00 p.m.
Originally planned for Sunday, September 15, the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce has decided to reschedule the event because of the possibility of adverse weather conditions due to the potential tropical storm.
“It is the prudent thing to do,” said Chamber President/CEO Isabelle Renault. “We arrived at this decision in consultation with the St. Johns County Emergency Management Center and the National Weather Service. We are acutely aware of the effect a severe storm can have on a community, and while we are hoping for the best, it is our responsibility to keep our attendees, show cars and owners, staff and vendors safe,” she said. “We look forward to welcoming attendees to view the many cars showcased by our faithful car aficionados.”
