ATLANTA – February 18, 2019 – Spherion is launching a new webinar series to help business leaders address the top issues impacting their workforces. The “Keys to Workforce Success Webinar Series” will kick off on February 28, 2019, with its inaugural webinar focused on “Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Best Practices.” New webinars will occur on a quarterly basis.
“The workforce is a company’s most valuable asset,” explained Daisy Lilley, Vice President of Marketing, Spherion. “Companies come to us with so many complex challenges to attracting and retaining their workers. This dynamic webinar series will address many of the top issues companies are grappling with and will be a valuable resource for companies looking for expert advice around critical workforce issues.”
According to Spherion’s annual Emerging Workforce Study, employers have consistently cited workforce issues as their top concerns over the last several years. Specifically, employers say they are most concerned with finding qualified and skilled workers, reducing turnover and increasing employee engagement. When it comes to diversity and inclusion, only 35 percent of employers who participated in last year’s study rated their D&I efforts an “A.”
D&I expert Floss Aggrey will lead the first webinar, sharing insights into how companies can strategically harness the power of diversity in their organizations. Aggrey currently serves as the senior director of compliance, diversity and inclusion at Randstad Sourceright. She has more than a decade of experience in designing and implementing D&I programs for organizations across a variety of industries.
Specifically, the webinar will address:
• What is D&I?
• How do you implement a D&I strategy?
• Where do you start?
• What should your D&I strategy include and why?
• What D&I trends are we seeing in the market?
• What are some immediate next steps?
The Diversity & Inclusion Best Practices Webinar will take place on February 28 from 12:00 PM ET to 12:45 PM ET
