PONTE VEDRA, Fla. (August 15, 2019) —
Nocatee and Woolsey Concert Group are proud to announce the first annual NOCtoberfest, a two-day music festival to be held Oct. 26-27.
NOCtoberfest will feature live music by local and national bands, including Sister Hazel, the Saturday night headliner. The full musical lineup will be announced soon.
The Oktoberfest-style festival will feature nearly a dozen food trucks and more than 40 vendors as well as a kids zone with inflatables, rock climbing walls and a 110-foot Ferris wheel. Other activities will include a cornhole tournament, stein hoisting competition and a bratwurst eating contest.
Event festivities will be held at the Nocatee Station Field, adjacent to the Nocatee Spray Park, which will feature four German “cities” offering more than 40 beers, including a wide variety of German brews. Guests will receive a German stein and an event passport, and those who purchase a beer at each of the cities will also receive a free commemorative t-shirt.
Tickets and sponsorships are limited, with the festival expected to sell out well in advance. Nocatee residents who purchase tickets by August 19 receive an exclusive discount. To learn more and purchase tickets, visit noctoberfest.org.
“We are thrilled to work with Nocatee to help bring this fun, family-friendly event to our neighborhood,”
said Josh Woolsey. “NOCtoberfest will be the perfect opportunity for parents to bring their kids to the festival during the day and enjoy themselves at night. We anticipate a great turnout and plan to make this an annual event.”
Nocatee Station Field is the new home for community events, including the award-winning monthly farmers markets, the Roscolusa Songwriters Festival, drive-in movie nights, concerts and more. Blue Water Bar & Grill, with its large deck and food court, is also accessible from the new event field.
