• Freedom Boat Club Jacksonville will host a live watch party for the May 19 Premiere of Season Two of Stomping Grounds

    Jacksonville, Fla., May 16, 2023 – Freedom Boat Club Jacksonville will be hosting a live watch party as the boat club appears in the season two premiere of “Stomping Grounds,” an award-winning series from Boat Trader, America’s largest boating marketplace. The community is invited to join the boat club and Stomping Grounds Host Ryan McVinney for the watch party on Friday, May 19 at the Beach Marine Wharf at 2315 Beach Blvd. in Jacksonville Beach. The reception will begin at 7 p.m. with live music, a raffle for prizes and the Up in Smoke Food Truck. Viewing of episode one begins at 8 p.m. Space is limited and those who would like to attend should register at Eventbrite.com.

    Episode one of season two of “Stomping Grounds” will take viewers out on the St. Johns River with Freedom Boat Club as McVinney speaks with local boaters, joins a Freedom Boat Club raft up for the Blue Angels air show and heads to a Jacksonville Jaguars game for some boatgating on the ‘Jag’N Wagon, a decked-out pontoon boat built by Jaguars fans. Logan Cooke, punter with the Jacksonville Jaguars, will also be joining McVinney on the water.
     
    Stomping Grounds can be seen on Boat Trader’s YouTube channel and streaming on platform Waypoint TV. The series features inspiring stories about boating traditions, on-the-water culture and adventures across America’s waterways. Season two will take viewers to destinations including Chicago, IL; Nashville, TN; Portland, OR ; San Francisco, CA; Austin, TX; and New Orleans, LA. It will feature wake surfing through the canyons of Lake Powell; a look at the underwater suit Chadwick Boseman wore in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever; and more.
