Second Annual Beaches - A Celebration of the Arts fundraiser to benefit The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach (CCPVB) on May 23
For more than 26 years, The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach (CCPVB) has been a gathering place to learn, experience, and appreciate the arts and culture in its many forms. The nonprofit 501(c)(3) provides opportunities for adults, children and families through classes, exhibits, programs, services, activities, and memberships open to the local community, and beyond. The organization’s annual Beaches - A Celebration of the Arts event generates funding for the nonprofit and an economic impact in the region through support for the arts.
This year’s Beaches fundraising event will be held on Sunday, May 23 from 5:30 pm until 8:30 pm at The Surf Club Patio at Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, 200 Ponte Vedra Blvd., Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. Ticket prices range from $250 for individuals and $2,000 for tables of eight along with sponsorship packages, program and signage advertising opportunities.

The fundraiser will feature an evening of dining and a variety of entertainment, along with naming individuals, businesses, and organizations within the coastal counties from Amelia Island to St. Augustine Beach who have enhanced arts and culture in the region. Award winners have been selected in the categories of the Members Choice Award and Community Impact Award, Emerging Artist Award, Arts Education and Advocacy Award, Art of Giving Award, and the Irene Lazzara - Beaches, A Celebration of the Arts Award. All CDC and seating, social distancing protocols will be followed.
A key feature during the event will be renowned and internationally recognized, Jacksonville, Fla. -based eye surgeon, Dr. Arun Gulani and The Gulani Vision Institute. Dr. Gulani is sponsoring “Bespoke on the Boulevard” featuring his global fashion design talents. He is personally re-designing gently used men’s and women’s suits collected from locally curated clothing collections to benefit artists and veterans who have lost their jobs due to the pandemic. Suits will be donated to those in need.
