For 27 years, The Trade Winds Lounge has been hosting an annual auction to benefit the kids served by St. Augustine Youth Services (SAYS). Janet Leonard’s parents, Duke and Toni Leonard, owned the iconic downtown bar since the 60’s and it continues to be THE place in St. Augustine to hear live music.
Janet Leonard, current owner of the Trade Winds has this to say about SAYS, “My family and the Trade Winds Lounge LOVES SAYS and will continue to support them as long as we're around.”

In between sets, local celebrity auctioneers will go head-to-head, auctioning off hundreds of items including hotel stays, golf packages, jewelry, sports memorabilia, restaurant gift certificates, and much more. The auctioneer that raises the most money during their round will be named the 2018 Auctioneer Champion!

St. Augustine Youth Services (SAYS) shapes the future of Florida’s at-risk youth by providing coaching, counseling and care in family style therapeutic group homes and outpatient community services. Race proceeds help provide “normal life experiences” to our residential foster kids and those with a mental health diagnosis and non-traditional families, especially during the holidays.
