Women with Vision Council 2019-2020
The mission of the Women with Vision Council is to mentor, inspire and empower women in professional environment through education and collaboration to embrace their own vision, purpose and value. We want to inspire women to live the lives they love, igniting their passion for business and to make a positive contribution in their community.
November Speakers: Michele McManamon, Founder of Operation New Uniform(ONU) & Sherita Jacobs, Director of Veteran Training with ONU, former graduate of ONU, as well as retired Captain in the U.S. Army.

Operation New Uniform is committed to help veterans develop the skills necessary to interconnect their background into business, network in a professional environment and sharpen communication skills that will lead veterans to the opportunities they deserve in business.
For the last 20 years Michele McManamon was the Co-Owner of Sandler Training in Jacksonville. Sandler is a sales and management training development company that focuses not only on technique training, but on behavior and attitude training as the forefront. This empowers their clients with an “up-front”, “no-nonsense” approach to sales. Their goal is to help companies as well as our Veterans to grow within or into the business community. The copy written Sandler Training system powers Operation New Uniform with the curriculum we teach and provide.
On a personal note – Michele was awarded Woman Business Owner of the Year – 2002; in 2011 she was awarded one of the Top 50 Business of Influence as well as one of the Top 25 Influential Women in Jacksonville and has been named the Small Business Leader of the Year for 2013 -South Council. Michele was also appointed the position of Chairman of THE PLAYERS for 2016. She serves on the Board of Governors, and is a Trustee member of the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce.Sherita Jacobs is a Military veteran, who served eight years as a Transportation Officer (Captain) in the U.S. Army. She is a 2019 graduate of Operation New Uniform’s Class 29 and was recruited to join the organization immediately following graduation. Sherita has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from University of Phoenix, a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (BSW) from Florida A&M University and holds a Toastmasters Certification in both Communication and Leadership. As an accomplished National Sales Account Manager and Social Justice Advocate, she is capable of empowering others and the communities she serves to help generate solutions to problems. In her role as Director of Veteran Training, Sherita will support the mission and efforts of ONU through veteran advocacy; as well as provide comprehensive training to veterans that challenges the behaviors, attitudes and techniques critical to an effective career search.Images
