The St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce Historic St. Augustine Area Council invites you to join them on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 8:00 am-8:30am for networking followed by an 8:30 a.m. presentation provided by Jennifer Wolfe, Historic Preservation Officer at the beautiful Sebastian Hotel.
Topic: Architectural & Demolition Guideline Updates 2021-2022
Jennifer will be discussing changes to the architectural guidelines for historic preservation and how it may affect the older historic buildings throughout the city, including all buildings in the local historic preservation zoning districts.
As the Historic Preservation Officer for the City of St. Augustine and chief of the Historic Preservation Division Jenny Wolfe serves the community by supervising the local regulatory review process for historic and archaeological resources and recommending cultural resource policies that support the city’s Historic Preservation Master Plan. Additionally, her position develops and manages historic preservation grant projects to include historic property surveys, national register nominations, physical rehabilitation projects, heritage tourism programs, and planning documents. She also performs design review for the overlay zones, implements disaster response and resiliency planning initiatives, and develops public programming using geo spatial technology. Since 2014, Ms. Wolfe has been a board member to the Florida Trust for Historic Preservation and currently serves as the board’s President.
The Chamber is following the current CDC guidelines regarding gathering in indoor and outdoor spaces. In addition, the Chamber is following the guidelines set by the host facility for this event.Date and Time
