More and more of the working class in St. Johns County are finding themselves in a situation where finding an affordable home is not feasible. Join the Historic St. Augustine Area Council on Friday, May 8, 202 as Delaney Colbert presents the challenges and opportunities regarding affordable housing for St. Johns County residents.
Delaney Colbert has served as acting President of the Flagler College Enactus Team for the past year and will graduate with the Flagler College Class of 2020 with a degree in Psychology and Criminology.
Enactus is a worldwide organization that concentrates on using the positive power of entrepreneurship to solve social, economic, and environmental problems.
The mission of the Historic St. Augustine Area Council is to address issues within the historic district such as historic preservation, tourism and business growth. The council’s goal is to bring members the most current information on tourism trends, local and state initiatives that have economic impact on business in the historic district. The focus of the council is to make the nation's oldest city a better place for residents and visitors as well as enhance the opportunities of the business community.
