This EDC Quarterly Breakfast will be the Chamber's first indoor event since the pandemic started one year ago. From your responses to our surveys, we understand that 70% of SJCCC Members are comfortable with attending in-person Chamber events or meetings. We have researched and curated best practices from various organizations and public health experts and will apply these best practices to our indoor events, including adhering to CDC Guidelines, in an effort to keep you and Chamber staff safe.
The check-in and the networking portion of the EDC Quarterly Breakfast event will take place outdoors under the large covered entrance to the Convention Center from 7:45 to 8:15 a.m. The Marriott will prepare a COVID-friendly, pre-wrapped breakfast to enjoy outside around high-top tables. You will also have an opportunity to explore the St. Johns County Express Commuter bus the Jacksonville Transportation Authority will showcase on site. At approximately 8:15 a.m., we will proceed inside for the program. To accommodate social distancing, no more than 5 guests will be seated at each indoor table. Tables will be spaced at the appropriate social distance as well.
Please note, Marriott Hotels requires all guests to wear a mask or face covering on property while not actively eating or drinking. In person attendance is limited and pre-registration is required. For our guests who prefer to attend the event virtually in webinar format, registration will open for virtual attendance when in-person capacity has been reached. Please note, at this time, virtual networking will not be possible with the webinar format.
The mission of the Economic Development Council is to promote St. Johns County as an ideal business location and to encourage businesses, both large and small, to expand and relocate within St. Johns County. EDC activities and events are designed to support the success of both new and existing businesses in St. Johns County.
