The quest for balance can be particularly intense for working couples who strive to give their all to work they care about without losing themselves or each other in the process. Join the Women with Vision Council as we welcome Sheriff Rob Hardwick and Kendell Hardwick for a discussion on achieving and maintaining balance with work\, life and family.\n\n \n\nSheriff Robert A. Hardwick took office on January 5\, 2021. Prior to serving as St. Johns County Sheriff\, he served as the 11th Chief of Police for the St. Augustine Beach Police Department. During his 29-year plus law enforcement career\, Sheriff Hardwick also worked at the St. Augustine Police Department\, the Flagler County Sheriff's Office and the Florida Department of Corrections and is a veteran of the U.S. Army and Florida Army National Guard. Sheriff Hardwick serves on the School Advisory Board for St. Joseph's Academy\, Flagler Health+ Care Connect Board and the Florida Sheriff's Association Legislative Committee and Accreditation Advisory Committee. Additionally\, he volunteers as a local youth athletics coach.\n\n\n\nKendell Hardwick is a registered nurse (RN) with over 20 years of experience working in the health care profession\, including working with the St. Johns County School District\, as a school nurse\, educator and basic life support instructor. Kendell currently volunteers with the St. Augustine Beach Police Department\, K9s United and Epic Cure. Additionally\, she serves on the board of directors for SMA Healthcare. Kendell has a true passion and desire to give back to her community.\n\n\n\nMr. and Mrs. Hardwick have been married for 30 years. Together they have raised two sons while managing their individual careers and remaining actively involved in their community.
