Our distinguished panel will explore the unique strengths women bring to the political arena\, why increasing female representation in politics is crucial for our society and how we can all be involved in the political process. \n\n\n\nPlease note: this is an in-person\, outdoor event. At this time we are not able to accept walk-in registration.\n\n\n\n \n\nRepresentative Cyndi Stevenson is a CPA by profession with over 20 years of experience in public accounting and in industry. She has worked in both large and small public accounting firms and maintained her own practice for a number of years. She has served as the controller for an insurance company as well as the Children?s Home Society of Florida\, one of the largest child welfare providers in the State. She also has experience in real estate\, healthcare and small business. From 2004 to 2015 Cyndi committed herself to public service as County Commissioner of St. Johns County. After having been elected countywide three times\, she successfully ran for Florida House of Representatives in a special election in April 2015 and is now serving in her second term in the Florida House.\n\n\n\nSenator Jennifer Bradley (Republican Party) is a member of the Florida State Senate\, representing District 5. She assumed office on November 3\, 2020. Her current term ends on November 5\, 2024. Bradley ran for election to the Florida State Senate to represent District 5. She won in the general election on November 3\, 2020. Jennifer Bradley was born in the Tachikawa U.S. Air Base in Tokyo\, Japan. Bradley earned a B.A. in criminology from the University of Florida in 1991 and a J.D. from Florida State University in 1995. Her career experience includes working as an attorney\; business manager with Bradley\, Garrison\, & Komando\, P.A.\; and owning Hibernia Property Management\, Inc\n\n\n\n\nBeth Sweeney is the Director of Community and Government Relations in the Division of Marketing and Communications at Flagler College. Prior to joining the staff at Flagler\, Beth served as the Director for Policy and Government Relations at the St. Johns County School District. Beth currently serves as the Chair of the Chamber's Public Policy Committee as well as on the Chamber's Board of Directors. \n \n\nMark J. Pinto Jr. serves as a Partner with The Fiorentino Group providing clients with a wealth of knowledge relating to the state lawmaking and appropriations processes. He has key experience in the areas of media relations\, corporate communications\, grassroots campaigning\, and fundraising\, among others. As a result\, Mark has developed an extensive and invaluable network of contacts in both the private and public sectors.\n\n\n\nThe Palencia Club will serve COVID-safe plated Azteca salad for this event.
